I went from a strong corporate salary to making $15 an hour — still with a family to feed, a mortgage to pay, and zero room for self-pity. I was forced to change careers entirely. I learned a trade but that still didn't cut it. I decided to learn sales even though I was one of the worst performers at my company. But I made a decision to get serious, change my beliefs and self-develop to change my family's trajectory.
